Welcome to The She Tree

I know what it is to feel alone. Invisible. To grapple with faith, dismantle harm, and relearn love.

I know what it’s like to gather up the shards of a shattered life and—defying old patterns and untangling bad theology—choose to rebuild something beautiful.

And I’ve learned that God tells us the truth about Himself through the beauty of the world He created. All the time. In every barren and bursting place.

That’s what The She Tree is about: exploring faith through those wild and wounded places. Finding words for what hurts—and what heals.

Here’s what you’ll find:

Poetry rooted in grief, wonder, and nature Because truth speaks through birdsong and bare branches, through the crack in concrete where wildflowers grow. When words fail, creation testifies—and spans the full spectrum of emotions. My poems are an invitation to see redemption written in the world around us.

Advocacy for women and the vulnerable Because I know what it’s like to feel invisible. To be told you’re not enough and, at the same time, way too much. To be forced to shrink small and grow dim for someone else’s comfort. I write for the women who are reclaiming their dignity after trauma, loss, or wounding—because your story is sacred, your voice deserves witness, and you should never have to feel alone.

Humor (the slightly inappropriate kind) Because I believe humor heals. And honestly? Some things are so ridiculous that a snort-laugh is the only appropriate response. Life is heavy enough—sometimes we just need to cackle together at the absurdity of it all.

One promise: Every post—whether it makes you cry, think, or laugh—will dignify women and point to Jesus.

Thanks for being here. I’m honored to walk this road with you.

With gratitude,

Christine
